Mrs. NoonanWelcome to 401! I am Mrs. Noonan and I am excited to begin this new school year with you and your child. This year begins my 44th year of teaching here at Holy Name. After teaching Second grade for over thirty years, I felt God was leading me to a new chapter in my life. When all the details began to fall in place, I felt sure that God was directing me to a new path - teaching 4th grade. You might say that I came "full circle." When I began college, I intended to become a "history" teacher, but changed my major to elementary education. And now - 43 years later- I am a "history" teacher and loving every part of it! God does work in mysterious ways!

What About 4th Grade |
Fourth grade is a "transitional" grade for your child. We leave behind the "primary" grades and begin the "intermediate" level grades. One of these transitions is having more teachers. With that, one of our first goals this year is teaching your child organizational skills. These first few weeks will be setting new goals for the year, establishing new routines, and getting acquainted with old and new friends. Thank you for all the school supplies you sent and for helping your child get ready for this new 4th grade adventure.
